On 6/8/23, Voice of the Youth met with the Santa Rosa City Schools (SRCS) District and Superintendent Anna Trunnell to discuss school safety. The organization learned intricate details of how SRCS is managing school safety, and Voice of the Youth recommended options for the future.
On 6/20/23, Voice of the Youth met with the Petaluma City Schools (PCS) District to discuss school violence issues. PCS shared similar concerns. Amari Jones also talked to School Board Trustee, Ever Flores, who expressed appreciation for Voice of the Youth’s dedication.
On 8/29/23, Jones met with Sonoma Valley High School and Creekside High School in Sonoma, California.
The administrators that the Voice of the Youth project has met were all amazing people devoted to protecting schools.
