Amari Jones, the founder of the Voice of the Youth project, was also a prominent supervisor and mentor at Dublin High School in Dublin, CA. Before leaving the school, Jones left an invaluable impact on the students and the local community. His work at Dublin High School is an everlasting example of the positive mission that Voice of the Youth represents.
Jones continually looks out for students, giving fist bumps, and smiles to everyone around. His work at Dublin demonstrates the phenomenal benefits of a positive community-building mentality. In a letter to Jones, students at Dublin High School wrote, “You may not know it, but you brought so many smiles to everyone’s day…You not only worked and provided for yourself, but you also made sure we were all doing well…From the bottom of our hearts, [we] thank you for everything.” Jones’ optimism, dependability, and kindness echoes in the Voice of the Youth’s project to connect communities and bring smiles to people’s faces. His impact on students at Dublin proves that a small act of kindness can truly go a long way.
On 3/18/23, Jones was invited to the large, high-profile North Coast Section (NCS) track meet at Dublin High School. The meet was run by Coach Chris Williams, and over 150 high schools attended. Jones connected with many high schoolers and cheered them on, further demonstrating his pursuit toward spreading cheerful energy and support.

Furthermore, Jones often helps define the Voice of the Youth’s ability to communicate the major problems that the local community faces. According to former mayor of Dublin, Tim Sbranti, “[Amari Jones] is always conversant on the key issues facing students and the community, but also strategic in his approach with a remarkable ability to navigate challenges and effectively communicate.” It is clear how the Voice of the Youth is founded on the basis of traversing obstacles through fearlessly speaking out and actively helping others.

As Amari Jones leaves Dublin High School for new opportunities, he will have left a long legacy of positivity, blessings, and activism. It goes as stated by teacher librarian Sara Hollison at Dublin High School: “Amari Jones is a remarkable man that has already, and will continue to, change the world.”
