Amari Jones and Kevin Wei, two members of the Voice of the Youth, came to join a podcast at Maria Carrillo High School on September 23, 2023. We want to give a special thanks for having us on such an amazing podcast interview. The podcast was made possible by Christian Bon and Sophia Hughes and is a part of The Puma Prensa, the MCHS student newspaper.

We discussed a great variety of topics: school safety, the March 2023 walk-outs, plans for the future of the Voice of the Youth, increasing teacher pay, promoting legislative change among the youth, and improper management of school funding.
