At the Voice of the Youth Project, we work hard to spread awareness of school violence and ways of preventing violence before it’s too late. School safety is our utmost priority, and we hope every student experiences a healthy, supportive environment.
If you notice violence in a school or local community, please do not hesitate to tell a trusted adult, local administrator, or school police. In California, many school members are mandated reporters (including teacher, counselor, and more). If a mandated reporter suspects child abuse or neglect, they are legally required to report it to a local law enforcement agency or child welfare department, not just to the school administration.
Additionally, please feel free to email us: voiceoftheyouthproject@gmail.com. We are here to help.
We hope to create an environment where no one is afraid to speak out against violence. Please take action and take care.
